Hi, I’m Nala 🐾

When I was just a young kitten, something terrible happened to my eye — the vets think I was either hit or kicked. It was very painful, and for a long time I struggled on the streets. Eventually, my rescuers were able to help me and had my eye removed so I could finally live without pain.

I’ve been with them for over a year now, sharing space with lots of other cats. At first, I didn’t want anyone near me — I’d screech if they came too close. But over time I’ve learned to live alongside them, even if I still like my space.

I’m strong-willed and a little sassy, but I also have a soft side. I like people, and I’m affectionate once I feel safe. What I really want now is a quiet, loving home of my own after everything I’ve been through.
