About us

Millions Need Our Help

We are a UK-registered charity committed to improving the lives of stray cats across Turkey. Supported entirely by volunteers and donors, we provide spaying & neutering, medical care, and international rehoming services to the UK, Europe, and US.

Millions of stray cats live across Turkey, often neglected, injured, or left without food. These beautiful animals face daily struggles for survival in harsh conditions.

By working locally in Turkey, we provide consistent food, shelter, and veterinary care. We carry out vital spay/neuter programs to limit overpopulation and educate communities on compassionate animal care.

Our Daily Impact

We currently feed 50+ cats daily across Istanbul and other regions, providing not just meals, but hope for a better future.

Your support powers everything we do.

Meet Our Team

Our charity is powered by a dedicated team of trustees with a shared passion for animal welfare.

Sule Acar

A woman with dark hair, wearing a black leather jacket, sitting on a brown leather couch, holding a gray and white tabby cat on her lap, with a background of a brick wall and a bookshelf.

Sule is a British-Turk who has always had a deep love for animals. A vegan and passionate advocate for animal welfare, Sule first began rescuing animals in 2011, when she brought home a cat from Turkey. Now based in Istanbul, she continues to dedicate her time and energy to improving the lives of animals in need. Her passion, compassion, and cross-cultural experience bring invaluable insight and dedication to the charity's mission.

Lale Hanife Safaoglu

A woman with long dark curly hair holding two black and white cats, standing against a beige wall.

Lale joined our team over two years ago, starting out with Sule when they rescued two pregnant cats in London together. She went on to rehome all seven kittens and adopted the two mums, Pamuk and Komur, who are still with her today. Based in London, Lale continues her rescue work and is passionate about helping animals in both the UK and Turkey.

Hazel adopted Bob, a partially blind FIV-positive cat, from us in 2024. She later welcomed Bella, Bonnie and Benny into her family and has been an amazing mum to all of them. Based in Kent, Hazel brings dedication and a deep love for animals to our rescue work, and we're lucky to have her as part of the team.
