Benji, Wesley, Robin & Billy
We are incredibly grateful to Help a Stray Cat for the amazing work they do in Istanbul, rescuing and rehoming stray cats across the UK and Europe. There’s also a wonderful community of helpers and adopters who make those long, tough journeys as comfortable and stress-free as possible, always putting each cat’s health and wellbeing at the very forefront of everything they do.
Over the past year, we’ve had the joy of welcoming four wonderful cats from them: Benji, Wesley, Robin, and Billy. Benji settled so quickly that we thought he would love a feline buddy, and Help a Stray Cat introduced us to his best friend from the cattery, Robin — so we adopted him. When Benji and Robin bonded so well, we knew we had space for a third, and Wesley soon joined the family.
We had our eye on the sweet little tripod Billy for a while, and when we heard that no one had shown any interest, we knew we had to bring him into the family, knowing we had just enough space. He’s a darling boy who hit it off with the MVP (or should we say MVC!) Robin straight away. He loves cuddles and follows us everywhere. Adopting a disabled cat was something we’d always wanted to do, and Billy has shown us just how much love and joy they have to give.
They all get on like a house on fire, each with their own unique personality, and they’re incredibly well-trained and well-behaved, especially considering their tough beginnings. Thanks to Help a Stray Cat, they’ve truly come back from the brink and brought immense joy and warmth into our lives.
We couldn’t wish for a more awesome foursome, and we’re so proud to be trusted by them. We can’t thank Help a Stray Cat enough for the difference they’ve made.
